We developed a social media strategy to not only engage the general public but more specifically restaurant workers and owners. ‘Restaurant of the Year’ was a highly successful campaign that encouraged industry involvement. Consumers were asked to nominate an Australian restaurant for the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ title to win a prize. This presented a unique opportunity for Redcat to contact existing and potential clients to encourage them to check how their business was performing and even participate by promoting the competition in order to get more votes.
